Tulips

There is something that intrigues me about flowers after they have bloomed. The beauty created by the curling of the leaves, the unconditional opening of the bud, giving me full view of the center of the plant, the fallen leaves, covering my table - all those moments have to be part of my collection. My home is often holder of several "dying bouquets", waiting to be photographed - not to be discarded. When time and light are right, I will take those pictures that most of us will never "experience" because the flowers are already in the compost. Whenever I receive or give myself a bouquet, my eyes are watching closely the unfolding of the unknown beauty.
